Bakery & Cafe
In March 2006, Chef Thomas Keller opened his first Bouchon Bakery in New York City. Located at Manhattan’s Columbus Circle, the bakery is just one floor below Chef Keller’s highly acclaimed Per Se restaurant, overlooking Central Park and the New York skyline. With the addition of the bakery, New Yorkers can experience Keller’s distinctive cuisine in a casual setting.
Designed by premier restaurant designer Adam Tihany of Tihany Design, Bouchon Bakery offers Keller’s unique twist on traditional French boulangerie fare. Unique among Keller’s bakeries, Bouchon Bakery at Columbus Circle features a full-service café open for breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch, with a menu offering a wide selection of soups, salads, artisanal breads, sandwiches and viennoiserie. On the sweeter side, the Bakery presents an assortment of classic desserts including traditional French pastries, cookies, tarts, and confections. Guests may also choose to place orders at the Bakery retail counter and carry out their selections, which serve as perfect gifts or snacks for picnics in the park. Additionally, a catering menu is available for private events.
