Sean DawsonBeverage Director
Sean Dawson is the beverage director at Bouchon in Yountville, Calif. where he now manages the wine and bar program after having served as a dining room manager at the bistro since 2014.
Overseeing the “Vin en Carafe” program, Sean showcases local vintners and winery owners producing single barrel, exclusive wines of distinctive varietals found in Napa Valley. He plays an integral role in the restaurant’s special French-traditional dinners that highlight the regions of France, Beaujolais Nouveau and Bastille Day, as well as French culinary legends. Sean also directs the beverage education program for the staff.
Prior to joining Bouchon, Sean worked at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe in San Diego where he held positions as a dining room captain, beverage director and most recently general manager.
Sean recently completed the Wine and Spirit Educational Trust (WSET) Level 3 Certification and is recognized as both a Certified Sommelier through The Master Court of Sommeliers, as well as a Certified Wine Specialist through The Society of Wine Educators. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Sonoma State University.
