Ben PiotrowskiChef de Cuisine
Ben Piotrowski first joined Ad Hoc in 2014 as a pastry chef de partie and later worked his way towards sous chef before becoming a culinary liaison for Chef Keller’s Executive Chef Devin Knell. During his time with Chef Knell, Ben assisted with the openings of The Surf Club Restaurant and TAK Room and was on the culinary development team for Chef Keller's MasterClass series. Returning as Ad Hoc's Executive Sous Chef in 2019, Ben worked with then Chef de Cuisine Matt Alba to form a strong mentorship. Chef Ben was named Chef de Cuisine in May 2020.
Ben is a graduate of the University of Maine where he received a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology. His positive leadership style, command in the kitchen, and dedication to Chef Keller’s core values has made him ready for this position as he helps lead Ad Hoc in a new chapter.
