Clara OspinaGeneral Manager
Clara Ospina is General Manager of Bouchon Bakery at Hudson Yards where she oversees daily operations, including staff development, revenue enhancement,, maintenance and DOH compliance. Clara joined Bouchon Bakery with the opening of the Hudson Yards location. With a lifelong interest in and a dedication to hospitality, she brings to this role over fifteen years experience managing restaurants in New York City and New Jersey.
Her career path began at the Hillstone Group, where she worked as a Manager for Houston’s Restaurant. She then became General Manager at the Marketplace Café at Nordstrom and later, General Manager at The Rotunda Restaurant at Neiman Marcus in Paramus, New Jersey. She expanded her capabilities in fast casual while at Pret A Manger. In that capacity, she managed the opening of the 46th St and 8th Avenue location in New York City. Most recently, she was General Manager for Maison Kaiser, where she was awarded annual recognition for outstanding sales and profitability.
Clara is a graduate of the University at Albany, State University of New York, and The New York Restaurant School.
She is proud to be in a profession where she says she learns something new everyday, and is excited to be part of the opening team at Hudson Yards
